HIGHEST CORROSION RESISTANCE

Nord-Lock steel washers have been tested for a minimum of 1,000 hours in the Neutral Spray Test*, one of the most rigorous tests to verify corrosion resistance, placing our washers at the top of the industry in maintaining optimal performance, whatever the environment.

SP WASHERS

Nord-Lock SP washers have the same wedge-locking design as original washers, but with an enlarged outer diameter. The SP washers are designed to be used together with flanged bolts and nuts (ISO 4161,4162) on oversized and slotted holes, or on sensitive surfaces and soft materials.

Black wedge-locking washers

Nord-Lock washers are also available in black. Expect the same unmatched safety, corrosion resistance, and reliability, but with a black finish that can be crucial in specific critical mission environments. Stocked range M6-M24 excluding SP.

CERTIFIED PERFORMANCE

Our washers have been rigorously tested and approved by independent institutes and authorities, ensuring that our washers meet the most stringent standards and safety requirements.

Among these are the Junker test – the most rigorous method for testing bolted joint, where the joint gets exposed to transverse displacement, while the preload is continuously measured. Nord-Lock washers consistently outperform the competition in this test.
